I love visiting this park it makes you feel as if you are actually in the forest even though you are in a metropolitan city. The views here are breathtaking and give you that sense of peace. If you need to clear your mind I would suggest visiting this park it will help you out tremendously.
We went at the peak of leaf colors and it was so beautiful. There are paths that go right to a secluded beach and you can see the entire forest shoreline. Also beautifully placed and designed trails.
I have been going here since I was very young. It's a great place to go with your family and friends.
Beautiful walking area in some forestry. The bridges are cool and definitely good setting in the fall. Can walk right down to a beach on Lake Michigan. Not far from great food and social area either.
This is one of my favorite places in Milwaukee. It can get busy, but early weekend mornings here are the best. There are very few people and the rising sun glistening off the lake at that time of day is just beautiful. I walk my dog here every weekend, run here most weeks, and kayak up the shore when the weather is nice enough. I just love this park.
